Cashier Administrator

At Marshall Motor Group, Peterborough, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Cashier Administrator to help drive our finance function forward.
In this role:
- Post and allocate all cash sheets (site banking), undertaking journals where necessary
- Handle queries, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct full bank reconciliations and liaise with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Audit current month’s cashbook supporting documents, ensuring everything is complete and correctly authorised.
- Ensure all documents are stored correctly for easy retrieval.
- Post cash paid entries onto Keyloop (cheques & cleared banking)
We're looking for:
- Someone ideally with 2+ years relevant experience in a large accounting or finance office (automotive retail sector experience is a plus)
- Someone detail-oriented who thrives in a fast-paced, numbers-driven environment
- Someone with proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and ideally with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS, though not essential.
- Someone comfortable managing a high volume of transactions with accuracy and efficiency
