Due to expansion, we are looking for a Compliance Administrator to join Marshall Motor Group on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your career within a supportive, forward thinking environment that genuinely values compliance and professional growth.
Due to the nature of the role, this position requires a full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel to our retail sites and is a hybrid role located out of our Mercedes-Benz Bolton store.
In this role:
As a key member of our Compliance team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting regulatory compliance across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating compliance meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining action logs (including Retail Compliance Committee meetings and SMCR interviews)
• Supporting the Compliance team with the maintenance of compliance records, registers, and documentation
• Managing and monitoring the Compliance team mailbox
• Administering recurring compliance monitoring activities, such as Deal File Reviews, Mystery Shopping, and Competency Assessments
• Completing Compliance Store Assessments
• Assisting with complaint handling, including investigations and responses in line with FCA DISP requirements
• Providing practical guidance and feedback to the wider business on compliance-related matters
• Escalating potential breaches or poor customer outcomes to the Head of Compliance
• Supporting Training & Competence administration, including tracking completions and updating learning modules
• Promoting a strong, positive compliance culture across the organisation

Knowledge & Experience
• Experience working in an FCA regulated financial services business
• Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements, particularly CONC and DISP relating to consumer finance and/or general insurance
• A working understanding of the regulatory framework (knowledge of Consumer Duty is desirable)
• Experience in a retail environment (ideally within the motor trade)
